Hi all. You may already have recieved a flyer or mail regarding the annual camaint tournament organised by the County Board. This is an initiative to bring on the fundamental skills required of the boys going forward in their development. The games are 20 minutes each split into 4 quarters. Ground Hurling only for quarters 1 & 3 with normal go game rules for 2 & 4. Three or Four teams will play in a blitz type format each Tuesday in July with games starting between 6 or 7pm (to be confirmed). Teams then play a final day in August in either Parnell Park or the Dublin Training centre at the National Sports Campus. As these games are 11 aside matches in the middle of holiday season, we are just trying to see if we have adequate players available for each date. Players do not have to be available for all matches. If you could return the slip at the bottom of the flyer or mail [email protected] before Saturday if possible it would be greatly appreciated.
